Named after the German word for Dachshund, "Dackel," our daycare is run by a young, passionate family committed to providing the best care for your pup.
We specialise in Dachshunds, offering a cozy, dog friendly space for a small group of dogs each day, ensuring they receive personalised attention and plenty of playtime. While Dachshunds are our main focus, we also occasionally welcome other breeds based on temperament. Each dog is treated like a member of our family.

Daphne
Founded and lovingly run by Daphne, a lifelong dog lover with a special passion for Dachshunds, The Dackel Club is built on a deep understanding of dogs’ unique needs. Growing up with a Dachshund alongside other breeds, Daphne developed a strong appreciation for their personalities and care requirements.
Whether your pup is shy or outgoing, Daphne ensures they receive the personalised attention, care, and comfort they deserve, helping them feel safe and happy while in her care.

Mario
Hailing from Germany, Mario brings a wealth of experience and a calm, easy going nature to The Dackel Club team. Growing up with a Dachshund as well as larger breed dogs, his relaxed demeanor and ability to connect with pups of every temperament make him a favorite among our furry guests.
When he's not giving love and attention to your dog, Mario is known for his impressive throwing arm, especially when it comes to a good game of fetch at the park. Whether it's playtime, walks, or just some quality cuddle time, Mario is dedicated to making sure each dog feels comfortable, happy, and truly cared for.
RESIDENT DACKEL
Oscar
Meet Oscar, our 6 year old Dachshund with a classic sausage dog personality and plenty of charm. As the resident Dachshund expert at The Dackel Club, Oscar takes his role seriously. With his long body and short legs, Oscar's bark comes as a surprise to those who are not familiar with his breed.
Though Oscar enjoys his downtime, he’s also a fan of long, leisurely walks where he can explore at his own pace. He has a particular fondness for other dackel and often forms tight-knit bonds with his fellow sausage dogs.
Oscar’s love for his breed adds a special touch to The Dackel Club. He’s always ready to greet new arrivals, share a spot in the sun, or just observe the goings-on around the daycare.
GREETER AND SNACK TASTING SUPERVISOR
Libby
Libby (short for Liebchen) is a very unique 4-year-old dackel mix with a fun-loving spirit and a big heart. She’s always up for a game of fetch and enjoys plenty of playtime with her doggy friends at The Dackel Club. Whether it’s chasing after a ball or just hanging out with the pack, Libby’s friendly and calm nature makes her a joy to be around.
With her approachable personality, she gets along well with all other dogs and is always ready to greet new faces with a wagging tail.
Libby’s mix of playful energy and easy-going demeanour makes her a wonderful companion for dogs of all personalities. She’s a great addition to the team, ensuring there’s always a friendly face around to brighten up the day!
