 FAQs

  • Exciting news, we have a brand new shop!

We’re located in Waterloo, NSW, with Erskineville Oval and Alexandria Park right on our doorstep, and Sydney Park just a short stroll away, giving us plenty of great spots for walks nearby.

  • All drop offs and pick ups will now be at the shop only, as we are no longer home based.

  • Yes, absolutely!

We know your dachshund is part of the family. You will receive daily updates via text, so you’ll always know what your dog is up to, whether they’re making new friends or relaxing in the sun. We love sharing the fun moments and adventures your dog is having with us.

  • We’re experienced with all kinds of anxiety levels, and we’re really careful to make sure your dog feels safe and calm. Our small group sizes really help anxious dogs feel more at ease and confident.

If your dachshund needs medication, we’ll manage it for you during their stay. For those with mild anxiety (like many dachshunds do), we keep a close eye on their interactions with the group and make sure they’re happy and comfortable.

  • If your dachshund needs medical attention, the Alexandria Vet Hospital is directly opposite the shop.

We’ll always let you know as soon as possible, and any medical costs will be forwarded to you.

  • Absolutely!

We want you and your dog to feel completely comfortable with us. Please email us to set up a time for you to come by, meet us, and ask any questions you might have. You can even meet our resident dackel, Oscar and Libby, while you’re here!

  • To see a full list of our policies please see our terms and conditions linked in the footer.

  • Yes, we understand that some Dachshund owners choose to delay desexing for health or breeder-advised reasons. As long as they have a calm temperament and aren’t showing hormonal behaviours such as marking, mounting, or aggression we welcome them.

For boarding, we can only accommodate them if no girls are in season during their stay.

We do kindly request that all Dachshunds be desexed by around 18 months of age, to help ensure a safe and balanced environment for every pup in our care.

We always assess each case individually to make sure every guest stays safe, relaxed, and happy.

  • We want your dog to feel at home with us, so just bring the essentials! Pack their bedding, food, harness and a lead, and we’ll take care of the rest.

If they sleep in bed at home they are welcome to do so here as well. We’ve got everything else covered to make sure they have a comfy, fun stay.

  • We can only accept bookings for Dachshunds who’ve attended at least one daycare session. This helps us ensure your dog feels happy, comfortable, and relaxed during their stay.

Please send all boarding requests through as an enquiry before booking.
