1.2. All dogs must be at least 3 months old and up to date on vaccinations, including Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough).
1.3. All dogs must undergo a behavioural assessment / meet and greet prior to attending daycare to ensure compatibility with other dogs and the daycare environment.

2. Vaccination & Health Requirements
2.1. Owners must provide proof of current vaccinations before their dog's first daycare visit.
2.2. All dogs must be free of fleas, ticks, and parasites.
2.3. Owners must notify us of any health conditions or allergies their dog may have, including any ongoing treatments or medications.
2.4. If your dog becomes ill while at daycare, we will notify you immediately. Depending on the severity, we may recommend taking your dog to the vet.
2.5. Dogs must be spayed or neutered by 1.5 years of age unless otherwise approved by our management.

3. Daycare & Boarding Services
3.1. Hours of Operation: Our daycare operates from 7:30am to 6:30pm. Any time after this will be charged additionally, and pickups after 9:30pm will incur an overnight boarding charge.
3.2. Drop-off & Pick-up: Owners must drop off and pick up their dogs within the designated hours. Late pickups may incur additional fees.
3.3. Group Play: All dogs participate in supervised group play based on their temperament and size.
3.4. Breaks & Rest Periods: We ensure each dog has sufficient rest and toilet breaks throughout the day.

3.6. Boarding Requirements: For all boarding stays, owners are asked to provide their dog’s regular food, leash, and harness to help maintain their usual routine and comfort while away from home.
3.7. Food for Boarding: If food is not provided, The Dackel Club can supply premium food for an additional daily charge.
3.8. Personal Items: Owners are also welcome to include a small blanket, bed, or favourite toy to help their dog settle in, please ensure all items are clearly labeled. While we have spare leads, harnesses, beds and feeding equipment available, we recommend that dogs use their own wherever possible for comfort and familiarity.
3.9. Medical & Dietary Information: All dietary needs, allergies, and medications must be communicated prior to drop-off, with any required medication supplied in clearly labeled packaging and written instructions.

4. Behavioural Expectations
4.1. Aggressive Behaviour: Dogs exhibiting aggressive behaviour toward other dogs or staff will be removed from the group and separated for the remainder of the day.
4.2. Barking & Anxiety: While we understand that some dogs can be vocal or anxious, excessive barking or signs of stress may result in temporary separation or a more suitable care arrangement.
4.3. Training & Commands: We encourage owners to ensure that their dogs are well socialised and responsive to basic commands (e.g. sit, stay, come).
4.4. Damage to Property: Owners are financially responsible for any damage caused by their dog to daycare property or other dogs.

5. Liability
5.1. While we take great care to ensure the safety and well being of each dog in our daycare, The Dackle Club is not liable for injuries, illnesses, or accidents that occur while your dog is in our care.
5.2. Owners agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Dackle Club and its staff from any liability resulting from the actions of their dog.

7.2. Cancellations or changes to daycare bookings must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled daycare date.

7.4. For boarding bookings, cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled check-in date will forfeit the deposit or full amount paid, whichever applies.
7.5. As a small boutique daycare, each booking reserves a limited spot and staff are rostered accordingly. For this reason, we do not offer monetary refunds, but are happy to issue a store credit to be used on another date or reschedule if adequate notice is provided as outlined above.
7.6. Credits are valid for one year from the date of issue and may be used for future daycare or boarding bookings.

Please note: Under Australian Consumer Law, businesses are not required to provide a refund if a customer changes their mind or decides not to proceed with a booking, provided the service remains available as described. Refunds will only be issued where required by law (e.g. if a service cannot be provided as promised).
